Mark Beasley
I am a UK-based marketing consultant, with thirty years successful agency and consultancy experience. During that time, I have operated in most markets and sectors, planned and managed many different marketing and communications projects, and worked with an impressive A-Z of corporate clients.
In 1987, I was co-founder and subsequently managing director of a marketing communications agency. This became one of the largest and most profitable in its sector and was acquired by Sir Martin Sorrell’s WPP group. Post-acquisition, I worked as part of a WPP global planning team, leaving WPP in 2002 to pursue a portfolio of interests.
My current activities include:
- Consultancy projects. Examples: marketing audits for FTSE 100 company; strategic review of Government body; planning and launch of new drinks business and brand.
- Creative agency. Formation and launch of rhc advantage, a creative marketing agency specialising in older audiences (www.rhcadvantage.co.uk).
- Lecturer. Associate Lecturer at the School of Management, University of Surrey.
I have an MBA (Master of Business Administration) and an honours degree in social science. I was admitted to the Marketing Society in 1989 and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. I was elected a Fellow of the MCCA in 2000.
